About the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs

The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs is concerned with the academic aspect, and works with the departments in creating the appropriate environment for the educational process in accordance with the highest national and international quality standards.

 

Tasks of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs

  • Supervise the implementation of study plans in the college and develop them.
  • Adjust study schedules and supervise the teaching load of faculty members and the like.
  • Contribute to raising the efficiency of faculty members in teaching and learning processes.
  • Supervising the provision of educational equipment suitable for the educational environment and ensuring that it is used in the education process.
  • Follow up the development of educational facilities and modernization of laboratories.
  • Work on providing learning resources and study references in various disciplines in the College in coordination with the relevant authorities at the University.
  • Develop methods and tools of Evaluation College.
  • Organize and document the procedures of students ' tests, submit their levels of study and form the necessary teams for this.
  • Propose the formation of committees related to the work of the agency.
  • Permanent coordination with the college agents and heads of scientific departments to achieve the objectives of the college.
  • Communicate with the corresponding academic and administrative units in the Jazan university to achieve the objectives of the agency in coordination with the dean of the college.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report on the progress of the study and academic performance in the college and submit it to the dean of the college.
  • Work on the implementation of the tasks delegated by the college council or the dean.
