| About the College
The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jazan University was established in the academic year 1427/1428 AH corresponding to 2006/07. According to Resolution No. 22/37/1426 and dated 04/30/1426 AH, the college started with one program, which is Medical Laboratory Technology for Boys. The establishment is based on the belief of the college administration that is to perform the national duty towards society, which is the graduation of the Saudi youth to become medical professionals well qualified to improve the level of health services.
The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jazan University shall be a pioneer and distinguished locally and internationally.
- Training of distinguished health professionals capable of improving the level of curative and diagnostic health services.
- Preparing graduates to continue studying in postgraduate programs.
- Raising community awareness of preventive methods for some endemic and widespread diseases in the south of the Kingdom.
- Involving students directly in scientific research that contributes to developing solutions and alternatives to some health problems.
