The College of Nursing was established to be a link within the system of health colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be a major tributary of qualified national nursing graduates capable of dealing with all acute and chronic cases with high efficiency and at all three levels of health care (preventive - curative - and rehabilitative) in response to the requirements of the community and the Saudi labor market And to keep pace with scientific advances and developments at the local, regional and global levels.
Since the beginning of the college’s journey, which grants a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, the college has progressed at a steady pace through its study plans that aim to raise the quality of educational outputs and provide the student with the ability to deal with health care education changes and modern scientific and technical developments. The college also seeks to raise the scientific level of its academic curricula as well as the local, regional and global reputation in response to the requirements for obtaining accreditation and in line with the University’s 2030 mission, which focuses on providing the highest level of academic services.
Graduates of the College of Nursing - Jazan University have the ability to provide leadership and excellence in clinical practice, work effectively with the rest of the multidisciplinary health team, address challenges related to international health and nursing education, conduct research projects and improve health care for the local community. Also, the scientific research conducted by faculty members and students contributes to providing nursing care based on scientific foundations and makes it accessible to all segments of society, in various fields and different places to provide specialized health care.
