Coinciding with the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is celebrated by the countries of the world throughout the month of October each year, the Student Activity Unit at the University College in Al-Ardah organized an awareness campaign for early detection of breast cancer 2021 entitled “Check to be reassured” in cooperation with the Department of Diagnostic Radiology Technology at the College of Medical Sciences On Tuesday, October 19, 2021 AD. It aimed at to embody the role of Jazan University to be a platform for the health and educational movement, which is one of the roles that the university adopts in serving the community

The campaign targeted a group of school students, teachers of Al-Ardah Governorate, and all faculty members. The campaign began with an educational seminar on rehabilitation exercises after breast surgeries, presented by the teaching assistant/ Ruqayyah Turabi and a number of students from the physiotherapy department in the college. The attendees were directed to the examination cart for examination

 Her Excellency Dean Dr. Marwa Bakri, thanked and appreciated  all the work team for these great efforts made by  Al-Ihsan Medical Association. The college also had  a great  role in hosting the Education Office in Al-Ardah to spread culture and awareness among members of the community
