“Enhancing the Quality of Listening and Speaking Skills and Constructive Community Communication” Program
Samta University College, represented by the English Department and in cooperation with the Student Activity Unit, presented a program entitled “Enhancing the Quality of Listening and Speaking Skills for Constructive Community Communication” within the scope of community partnership initiatives with the educational affairs of the Education Office in Samta. The initiative targeted a number of secondary school students from several schools in Samta Governorate. It was opened by the Head of the College’s English Department, Ms. Hadeel Madkhali provided an introductory overview of the initiative and its objectives. This was followed by various and enjoyable speeches aimed at emphasizing the importance of listening and speaking skills for learning the English language and mastering the dialect of its speakers, presented by Ms. Baida Al-Subaie and Ms. Hina Ansari. The graduate of the English Department, Amna Hussein Sumili, also shared with the students a summary of her experience in learning the English language, and concluded this speech by providing advice to those wishing to learn the English language. The initiative received a significant response and positive response from the female students. At the conclusion of the program, an enjoyable competitive competition was held among the students, and the attendees were thanked for their efforts and effective presence.
