The initiative to train health services volunteers at the College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine

The College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, in cooperation with the Health  Volunteer Center at the Ministry of Health, implemented an initiative to train 300 health services volunteers. The initiative included more than 7 workshops over 5 days, targeting male and female students and employees of health colleges at Jazan University.

The Dean of the College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Dr. Manal Al-Malki, informed that the initiative succeeded in training about 350 volunteers, thus exceeding the expected number, and  stressed the importance of volunteer work, especially in the health services field, and the need for specialists to participate in this type of work in line with the aspirations and goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, that is to enroll about one million volunteers by 2030.
