His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, issued a number of appointments and assignment related decisions, which included assigning Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, the University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs to carry out the tasks of the University’s Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship, appointing Dr. Saleh bin Muhammad Abdullah Saleh as Dean, Deanship of Graduate Studies, appointing the doctor Jaber bin Ali Muhammad Muslimani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the appointment of Dr. Muhammad bin Humaid Muhammad Al Hameed as Coordinator of the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology.
He also announced the official commencement of the Department of the Southern Medical Complex for Girls in Jazan, and the Department of the Academic Complex for Girls at Mahilya.
