His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, affirmed that one of the characteristics of capable leadership is that the leader should bear the responsibility entrusted to him and work in team spirit and not only through administrative logic.

His Excellency the University President stated that the best advice was given to him from a class four employee and that the University’s employees are leaders and we have high-level capabilities, opportunities and leadership in various fields and disciplines with a clear vision for the future.

This came at the opening by His Excellency, the enrichment program for Future Leaders, which aims to enhance the leadership side of the University’s employees, and is organized by the University Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship represented by the Future Leaders Unit and shall continue for several days.

His Excellency the President of the University presented the scientific paper for the first day of the program, during which he touched upon the most prominent features of leadership. For his part, the Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, explained that this program is to enrich the knowledge and skills of leaders at the University, to achieve strategic aspirations with them as a team that believes in the visions and goals. This requires collaboration and coordination of efforts to take advantage of the available opportunities and achieve excellence and leadership in all academic, research and administrative fields.

Dr. Azyabi indicated that this program is in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision related to educational institutions and advancing progress and achievement by establishing the role of the government Universities and achieving their constructive strategies and goals.
