The first cross-country championship for Saudi universities’ female students concludes at Jazan University

The first cross-country championship for female students organized at Jazan University with participants from 9 Saudi universities, concluded with Taibah University securing first position. About 60 students from 9 universities took part in the 2.5 km race, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, Mr. Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan.

Taibah University won the championship followed by Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University ranked second, Qassim University at third place, King Saud University came fourth, Princess Nourah University ranked fifth, and Jazan University came in at sixth. The Vice President for Student Affairs (Female Section), Dr. Fatima Aqili, and the Championship Director of the Saudi Cross Country Racing Federation, Ms. Raghad Al-Otaibi, distributed trophies to the winners.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya bin Ali Faqihi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University for his unlimited support for all student activities in various events and programs.
