Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University will host the Universities Cross Country Championship for female students tomorrow night, Friday, under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, Mr. Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, in its third season, and organized by the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities.

The Dean of Student Affairs at Jazan University, Dr. Yahya Faqihi, stated that the race is being held for the first time for female students, and 60 students from 9 universities will participate in it, covering a distance of 2.5 km.

 Dr. Faqihi explained the importance of sports activity in students' lives and its promotion for public health and better quality of life. He extended his thanks to His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, for his support towards student activities and programs, and to the Saudi Universities Sports Federation for choosing Jazan University to host the tournament.
