Deanship of Human Resources at Jazan University launches the Strategic Workforce Planning Project for employees

Jazan University launched the Strategic Workforce Planning Project in its second phase, in a ceremony organized by the Deanship of Human Resources and sponsored by His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, in the presence of University vice presidents, deans of faculties and directors of departments at the College of Arts and Humanities auditorium this morning.
President Dr. Mar’ei Al-Qahtani, explained that the project is a stepping stone towards evaluating the workforce in the University and an indicator of the adequacy and staff requirement of colleges and departments. We hope to see satisfactory results that serve the university in the future.
While the Dean of Human Resources, Dr. Mansour bin Hamoud Awaji, confirmed that the project targeted, in its first phase, colleges and faculty members, and in its second phase, it targets administrators and employees. In his speech, he referred to the project methodology, measuring the workload and the benefits of strategic planning for the workforce. The project team also reviewed the timetable for the phases of data collection and project completion.
For his part, the Head of the Human Resources Planning Department, Prof. Farouq Arishi, explained the stages of data collection by the university's departments, deanships, and colleges, which start with attaching strategic plans and organizational structures and end with the placement of employees. He stated that the deanship will work to hold virtual meetings on Sunday and Tuesday with administrators and those responsible for collecting data during the project period and provide them with the necessary support.
