His Highness the Jazan Governor patronizes the ceremony of the people of Jazan on the occasion of the 92nd National Day

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, sponsored on the evening of the 92nd National Day celebration which was organized by Jazan University, at the Prince Sultan Civilization Center.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

Then His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, delivered a speech in which he highlighted the development projects witnessed by the region, the latest of which was the opening of Jazan Port in Jazan City for Basic and Transformation Industries. It is a real achievement and proof of the wise vision of the leadership, and is in continuation of the rapid development in various fields.

His Highness referred to the care given by the wise leadership and the achievements of the region, including Jazan City for Basic and Transformation Industries, Jazan University and other giant development projects, in addition to the region's various tourism, economic, investment, agricultural progress and other fields.

After that, His Excellency the President of Jazan University, the General Supervisor of the Organizing Committee for the Ceremony of the People of Jazan, on the occasion of the National Day, Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, gave a speech in which he reviewed the milestones achieved by the University during the past years. He expressed his happiness and appreciated all the university employees for their hard work as we have been honoured to conduct this ceremony for the third time. He thanked all those who participated in organising the ceremony from government agencies, employees and male and female students of the University.

After that, the audience watched a video presentation entitled "Jazan in the eyes of historians".

Then the people’s speech was delivered on their behalf by a member of the Shoura Council, Dr. Aisha bint Hassan Zakari, in which she reviewed the leadership’s support and care for everything that contributes to advancing progress in all regions of the Kingdom through the balanced development of all its regions, and investing in the capabilities that characterize each region, to bring about a qualitative development. A tangible and comprehensive renaissance for all parts of the country, highlighting what the Jazan region received from a large share of that care, represented in developing and investing its resources, achieving feats and implementing development and service projects. His Highness the Governor and His Highness his deputy, have made a great impact and contribution in bringing about this development.

After that, a choir performed a then the poet Issa bin Hussein Al-Fayfi recited a poem on the occasion, then a patriotic song was presented entitled “Here is my homeland” performed by the student of the College of Applied Medical Sciences Muhammad Khamisi and the words of the poet Shaqra Al Madkhali, composed by Yahya Azeek.

 

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness, the Jazan Governor, participated in the National Day parade, and posed for group photos.
