Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, stressed the importance of continuing efforts to start the new academic year positively and prepare the educational environment to receive new and regular students on the first day of school.

This came during the University Council’s twelfth session for the academic year 1443 AH, today in the University Council Hall in the Administrative Tower, in the presence of the Secretary-General for University Council Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Saleh, and members of the University Council.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Secretary of the University Council, Prof. Muhammad Abu Rasin, stated that the Council agreed to send, continue, and transfer scholarships of (52) teaching assistants and lecturers of both sexes to obtain master’s and doctoral degrees in various disciplines, and to grant scientific degrees to (24) male and female students. Various decisions were taken regarding postgraduate studies, approval of the executive rules of the regulations governing postgraduate studies in universities, approval of the formation of the permanent committee for graduate studies, approval of the executive rules of the university’s study and examination regulations, and approval of some research and academic topics.​
