Jazan University Council praises the development related decisions of universities

Jazan University Council praised the development decisions of universities issued by the University Affairs Council to enhance the organizational efficiency of universities and improve academic and administrative performance by reducing the level of bureaucracy in universities and raising the level of organizational agility in accordance with international standards to enhance the efficiency of the university system.
This came during the University Council meeting in its tenth session for the academic year 1443 AH in the Council Hall in the Administrative Tower yesterday. The University’s Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Secretary of the University Council, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, presided over the meeting in the presence of the Secretary-General for Universities Council Affairs Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh and members of the University Council.
Dr. Abu Rasin explained that the council agreed to appoint a number of Saudi faculty members (7 to the rank of Assistant Professor), and to send, continue and transfer the scholarships of (36) teaching assistants and lecturers male and female to obtain master’s and doctorate degrees in different disciplines. It was agreed to grant the scientific degree to (55) male and female students in postgraduate studies.
The University Council was also informed of the decisions taken by the University Affairs Council, and the approval of the harmonization of study plans for the Arabic Language Diploma Programs for Non-Native Speakers in line with the shift from the two-semester system to the three-semester system for the academic year 1444 AH.
