Jazan University faculty member granted second fellowship for Head and Neck Tumor Surgery in America

Jazan University faculty member and fellow surgeon in the United States of America, Dr. Ehab bin Siddiq Al-Amir, received the second American fellowship in advanced head and neck tumor surgery, from the Center for Cancers and Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Hospital, in New York, USA. It is considered as the first such instance in the Kingdom and the Middle East, due to the scarcity in this specialization, and the quality of the program, as the hospital is ranked first in the whole of America, and one of the best hospitals around the world.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ehab obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Khalid University with distinction, then he worked as a doctor in the National Guard Hospitals in the Western Region, and then joined Jazan University as an assistant professor at the College of Medicine, followed by joining one of the oldest and best American hospitals in the world. He holds the American Board of General Surgery from the state of Illinois, followed by a fellowship in endocrine surgery with distinction and honors.
