Jazan University Acquires an E-Learning License

Jazan University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology, obtained an e-learning license from the National Center for E-Learning, which enables it to apply for licenses for e-learning-style programs.

The Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim bin Ahmad Ghashim, confirmed that the University has strengthened the plans for the transition to e-learning in line with the great development witnessed in this field locally and globally. He noted the support of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, that has facilitated the achievements in various fields, in addition to his keenness to serve the region and meet the aspirations of its people by employing the best global technical solutions and harnessing them for science and learning.

Dr. Ghashim indicated that the University obtaining the e-learning license shall help to achieve its objectives in providing programs in the style of e-learning and enhances its pioneering experience and its various initiatives in this aspect in accordance with best international practices, with high efficiency and effectiveness.

Dr. Ghashim added that the Deanship has succeeded in employing technology in an optimal and thoughtful manner in achieving the strategic objectives of the university in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and in accordance with international quality standards.
