Honoring the Department of Educational Services and Facilities and the Supporting Departments

The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, honored the Department of Educational Services and Facilities and the Supporting Departments, which worked to secure, equip and prepare educational services during the launch of the Hijri year 1443 AH.

Dr. Ishaq indicated that the university worked to develop and modernize its infrastructure by creating a supportive, effective and advanced educational environment that contributed to increasing the practical and cognitive achievement of students and motivating them to be creative and innovative and to acquire new skills.

Dr. Ishaq confirmed that His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, is following with interest all the efforts made by the Educational Services and Facilities Department and the supporting departments in performing their tasks in a way that meets the aspirations of the University and the community. He noted the distinguished efforts in providing and securing advanced educational services in classrooms and laboratories to meet the university's needs and future plans and enhance its competitive position.

It is noteworthy that the Department of Educational Services and Equipment accomplished during the year 2020 a number of major tasks that included securing and providing 12,646 educational supplies, in addition to developing 191 classrooms, establishing and equipping 24 training halls, establishing 3 computer labs, developing 31 computer labs, and re-sorting and recycling 30 medical and scientific laboratories. The department of Health track was transferred from the Medical Academic Complex to the Female Academic Complex in Mahliya, as well as supervising the vacating of 12 rented buildings.
