The Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, stressed the need to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and the importance of targeting faculty members and graduate students and making them aware of the full benefits available to them at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. They have to be informed how to develop their businesses and by supporting them in the next stage of their journey with the center.

This came during his meeting with the employees of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, during which he met with the supervisor, Dr. Omaima Al-Badri, and met with the staff, and discussed a number of topics, most notably the plan and objectives of the unit and its departments, for the current academic year 2021-2022, alumni of the university, innovators and faculty members.​
