Jazan University meets its freshmen and honors outstanding students of 1443 AH

His Excellency Jazan University President, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, stated that the University has adopted transparency in admission, and we welcome all its regular and new students with a safe return to in-person classes. Dr. Al-Qahtani stressed the need to adhere to the directives and instructions of the Ministry of Health to take two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine, adding that the university will not allow entry to its facilities for those who are not fully vaccinated, the student’s registration for the courses will be cancelled unless the doses are completed and that the university will spare no effort in providing the requisite services to all its employees.

This came during his sponsorship of the meeting of new students for the academic year 1443 AH and the honoring of outstanding students for the year 1442 AH. Also present at the meeting were the University’s Vice Presidents, Deans of colleges and deanships as well as students at the College of Business Administration auditorium. The President honored the top-performing students of the previous academic year and wished success to all.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency inaugurated the orientation exhibition for freshmen, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs with the participation of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology, and the Deanship of Library Affairs.

Then the activities of the open meeting were launched with the participation of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, the Vice President for Student Affairs (Female Section), Dr. Fatima Aqili, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Faqihi, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Othman Hakami, the Vice Dean for Information Technology at the Deanship of E-Learning and IT, Dr. Ahmed Mufarreh and the General Supervisor of Public Relations and Media Administration Mr. Musa Muharraq.​
