The Deanship of Academic Development organised an intensive training program for faculty members
The Deanship of Academic Development organized an intensive training program for the third phase that lasted for four days. The workshops were presented by Dr. Ali Hindi, Dr. Ahmed Taha and Dr. Abu Obeida Yassin in the training hall of the Deanship of Academic Development, which targeted faculty members at the university.
The event dealt with a number of topics- academic programs to prepare quality teams, teaching and learning and performance indicators in order to prepare application files for academic accreditation, the program’s quality assurance system and performance reports, program and course descriptions, the role of the department head in quality assurance processes, and basic requirements to ensure quality, key performance indicators and benchmarking, learning outcomes, assessment plans and reports, identifying learning outcomes terminology, preparing a learning outcomes assessment plan, how to prepare a learning outcomes assessment report as well as reviewing the results, how to prepare the current batch analysis report, and how to form technical committees, how to study the status of the program according to the simulation and evaluation of different standards, and how to prepare a self-study report.
