This morning, Jazan University received its students with the return of in-person classes for the academic year 1443 AH, amid the application of precautionary measures and approved health protocols. These are to ensure the health and safety of students and University employees.

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, explained that the university has taken all measures and harnessed all its resources to start the new academic year in a safe educational environment.

Since the early morning hours, His Excellency visited a number of departments and campuses and met with students and faculty members. He was briefed on the progress of arrangements for a safe return to regular in-person classes, and the work done by faculties and all sectors within the university to facilitate the receiving of students with the application of health protocols for educational facilities.

His Excellency stressed the importance of students and university employees receiving two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine to be able to enter the University facilities and attend the classes while pointing out that the University provided centers to conveniently get vaccinated.
