Jazan University continues to support the development efforts of its people and region, and to serve its community in many fields. The University announced through its Twitter account its pride in the efforts of its students and employees, with a special mention of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman bin Mufarreh Al-Ghazwani from the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine. He is also the founder of the Pediatric Surgical Oncology in Jazan Region, and was chosen by the Ministry of Health as one of the most distinguished doctors for the year 2020 at King Fahd Hospital in Jazan.

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Anwar Makin, stated that Jazan University, represented by the College of Medicine, expresses its pride in the achievements of its employees in the medical and health care fields. He also praised the support of the President of the University, Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and his continuous directives to make every effort to serve the region and the country in general.
