His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the e-services platform is continuing on the path of rapid technological development and in line with the Vision 2030 in achieving effective e-governance and fulfilling the requirements of information security.

This came during the inauguration ceremony of the e-services platform at the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology, yesterday evening, in the auditorium of the Girls College complex at Mahliyya, in the presence of the University's Vice Presidents.

In his opening speech, Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, stated that digital transformation has become a reality for which institutions are competing in rebuilding operations and drawing up a map of electronic integration.

After that, the Dean of E-Learning and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Ghashim, spoke about the Deanship’s journey, development services and initiatives that it provided. Dr. Ghashim informed that this continuous development in electronic services comes under the directives of His Excellency the President of the University and his continuous follow-up in development and digital transformation and we utilize business intelligence data in taking decisions.

After that, the Vice Dean for Information Technology, Dr. Ahmed AlMufarreh, the Director of the Electronic Transactions and Services Department, Eng. Abdullah Al-Qahtani, and the Head of the Portal and Web Programming Department, Eng. Waleed Torabi, spoke about the platform’s sections and services.​
