Jazan University students complete the first phase of self-registration of courses

Jazan University completed the first phase of the self-registration process for the courses for the first semester of the academic year 1442, as this phase targeted new and committed students to the plan, whose number reached 20294 students.
The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Faqihi, praised the follow-up and support of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, for all initiatives aimed at promoting and providing electronic services to University students. He explained that the University’s adoption of the method of self-registration aims to enhance the student’s responsibility towards preparing the academic schedule according to what he deems appropriate for himself/herself. And deepen their understanding of study plans and the relationship of the courses with each other.
Faqihi pointed out that the first stage of the self-registration process was closed with a registration rate of 90% of the total target group, adding that the second phase of self-registration began on Wednesday and continues until Saturday, corresponding to 1/3/1442 AH.

The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Faqihi, stressed the importance of following up the university calendar and academic events and adhering to submitting applications during the periods stipulated in the academic calendar, stressing that failure to register academic courses will lead to changing the student’s status to “discontinued study”, explaining that the last date for submitting a semester postponement request will be on Thursday 1/15/1442 while the period of submitting excuse for the first semester begins on Muharram 25, 1442 AH.
