Jazan University, represented by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in cooperation with the Center for Employment and Alumni Relations, has joined hands to participate in the Graduate Entrepreneur Competition, coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2020, with the support and follow-up of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani.

The Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, explained that the competition targets final year students, who are expected to graduate soon, to present their entrepreneurial ideas and projects in various upcoming fields. He informed that the winning entrepreneurial projects shall be receiving all support and funding.

While the Supervisor of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naif Madhkour, informed that registration is available through the University website and shall continue until Thursday, November 19, 2020. He added that the competition areas are numerous and include (data science, the Internet of Things, blockchain, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quality of life (promising projects in medical and health sciences), entrepreneurship and support services.
