In the context of supporting innovators from the region, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Jazan University received the Director of Scientific Activity in the Jazan Education Department, Mr. Ali Khamisi, with the aim of providing engineering and technical consultations in FABLAB JU. It would help develop a robotic project that won third place in the International Robotics Olympiad under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.

For his part, the Supervisor of the Innovation Center, Dr.Nayef Madhkour, spoke about the advantages of intellectual property in general and the guidance regarding the resources necessary to support the innovation process. He also explained how the origin of the idea and its protection to preserve intellectual property rights and the mechanism to benefit from it in order to develop and promote their invention under the umbrella of Jazan University shall be done. And stressed that the Innovation Center will provide full support for their requirements in this field in terms of laboratories, expertise, consultations, and experiments.
