Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University shall be hosting the 24^th meeting of the Committee of Presidents and Directors of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the GCC, from 5-7 October 2021.

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussain Al-Qahtani, explained that the university had finished its preparations to receive the delegations participating in the meeting. He stressed that cooperation between Gulf universities opens up a wide range of opportunities for exchanging knowledge and administrative experiences and enriches the future visions, enabling us to overcome the challenges of building a qualified Gulf citizen equipped with modern skills. These endeavors are for the benefit of education and its development in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

His Excellency stressed that the hosting of this great event by Jazan University would not have been possible without the support that the education sector receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them.

His Excellency pointed out that this great integration and harmony is due to the geographical location in which the social, economic and cultural conditions are similar and is accompanied by unlimited support and great interest from the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
