The Accreditation Center completes preparations virtually for the accreditation of the Jazan University colleges
The National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, in coordination with the Deanship of Academic Development at Jazan University, carried out a remote coordination visit in preparation for the final visits of the Medicine and Surgery Program at the Faculty of Medicine, the Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, the Radiology Technology Programs, and Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, the Nursing Program at the Faculty of Nursing and Interior Design Program at the Faculty of Design and Architecture.
The Dean of Academic Development at Jazan University, Dr. Ali Hindi, explained that the center’s team met virtually the Deans of the colleges, Vice Deans, department heads and members of the self-study committees and reviewed a number of accreditation files for the colleges and their programs, adding that during the meetings, preparation for the final visit was presented with the participation of department heads and a number of faculty members, administrators and a number of male and female students.
It is noteworthy that the virtual visits to the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment come as a qualitative initiative provided in partnership with higher education institutions to deal with the current situation in crisis and risk management to protect students, faculty members, academic administrators and all employees of the educational institution, members of the review team and the center’s employees in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, and in fulfillment of contractual obligations It is necessary to take into account the interests of all concerned parties.
