Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and His Excellency the President of Al-Baha University, Prof. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussein, signed an agreement to exchange academic experiences and cooperation in the fields (research, training, and development) and to conduct joint research in several scientific fields.

His Excellency, Dr. Mar’ei Al-Qahtani, stated that the agreement comes within the framework of cooperation and exchange of experiences. This would help both the universities to benefit from the excellence of its human resources and capabilities of both parties. In addition to the university’s endeavor to promote initiatives to protect the environment, preserve the natural vegetation cover and contribute towards collaborative research in order to achieve sustainable development and security as well as welfare of the citizens.

For his part, His Excellency the President of Al-Baha University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussein, stressed the importance of the memorandum of cooperation for conducting scientific research in light of the unlimited support of the wise leadership – may God protect him. He noted that this agreement will be a good outcome for the students of the two universities, and will also focus on several aspects, including teaching plans, academic plans, teaching some courses, and conducting joint research in light of similar environmental conditions and the distinction of researchers in the two universities.
