The Department of Chemistry at Samtah University College organized a workshop entitled “Preparation for the Standard Test” presented by Dr. Manal Rakabi, Associate Professor, Department. The workshop aimed to familiarize the students expected to graduate with the nature of the standard test, its objectives, and the expected date for it, and to provide them with all the information they need to know about the standard test for the Bachelor of Chemistry program. The university's vision for the standardized test was also clarified, through which the university aims to raise the level of Jazan University graduates to compete in the labor market. It was noted during the workshop about the standard test link on the website of the Chemistry Department at Samtah University College, in which the student will find all the information about the standard test. Then, the nature of the test questions, the language of the test, and the incentives offered to the students to encourage them to pass the standard test was discussed, the most important of which is giving the student a document stating that she passed the standard test for the specialization program, and honoring the first female students in the test. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Manal motivated the students to prepare for the test and urged them to strive constantly to enrich their knowledge and academic experiences. During the meeting, a number of questions related to the test were asked, and all their questions were answered.
