About the club

Introduction

Excellence in building an environmentally conscious generation capable of understanding environmental concepts and commitments, and awareness that protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.

The unit was established by a decision of the dean of the college on 17/1/1441 AH. It aims to create a positive interaction with environmental challenges by implementing environmental activities and initiatives, influencing participation in spreading environmental awareness among university students, and contributing to achieving sustainable development to build a positive community aware of environmental problems.

Objectives

• Spreading a culture of environmental awareness and educating students to preserve the environment. • Spreading awareness of the concept of sustainable development. • Educating students about some diseases that are spread due to environmental pollution.

• Providing students with skills, abilities and information in the field of environmental protection.• Educating students about the concept of environmental pollution, its types and manifestationsوAnd some negative phenomena such as smoking.

• Promote and encourage awareness of the need to rationalize energy and water consumption, and use safe raw materials and environmentally friendly products.

• Organizing pamphlets, brochures, posters and awareness panels to preserve the environment. • Defining participation in all environmental celebrations and advocating for them as a tool to activate and take appropriate measures to preserve the environment.

  • Paying attention to the environment, supporting environmental protection procedures and programs, building an environmentally conscious generation, and raising students' environmental awareness and environmental practices.

  • Achieving greater communication with the various institutions and associations concerned with the environment.
