Admission and Graduation Requirements

 

Student Intake:

The numbers that can be accepted in the next year 2022-2023 AD (1444 AH) are ten female (10) students and ten male (10) students at most who meet the admission requirements.

Admission Requirements:

In addition to what is mentioned in Article (13), Article (15) and Article (18) of the Graduate Studies Regulations, the applicant must fulfill the following conditions for admission to the Master of Science in Mathematics program for the next academic year.

  1. The applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Sciences from a Saudi university or any other university recognized by the Ministry of Education.
  2. The applicant must have a good or above good grade, in the general average and at least a very good grade in the specialization rate at the undergraduate level.
  3. The applicant must have passed the language test (TOEFL) with a GPA of no less than 400 or its equivalent.
  4. The applicant's average in the aptitude test should not be less than 60.
  5. The applicant must pass the written test conducted by the department with an average of 60%. In the event that this condition is not met, the department council may recommend admission, provided that supplementary materials are passed before starting the program.
  6. Passing the supplementary courses approved by the department in the event that the academic record of the bachelor's stage does not meet some of the basic specialization requirements or does not pass the specialization test conducted by the department.
