About the Department

The university's Department of Mathematics was founded in the academic year 1426/2006 at the same time as the Faculty of Science. Pure math, applied math, and statistics are all areas of expertise for the department's qualified faculty. The department has more than 40 distinguished faculty members with backgrounds in science and research. The academic staff members are also actively engaged in research and project execution.

The department provides M.Sc. and B.Sc. programs in mathematics. Our main goal is to prepare our students to become professional mathematicians and statisticians who can use mathematical methods to analyze scientific and technical problems and conduct research in a variety of fields. The department encourages students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities in addition to encouraging consistent and strong academic performance to bring out their best.

Vision:

Excellence in different fields of mathematics science to achieve competitiveness at the level of the Kingdom and the region through its research, teaching and community service.

Mission:
