EXIT-EXAM CONCEPT:
The standard test is a test that the graduate passes in the last or penultimate year of graduation to measure the extent to which the outcomes achieved by the students are consistent with the outcomes expected of them.
EXIT-EXAM GOALS:
- Measuring the extent to which the skills necessary for employment are achieved among the targeted students and are required by the labor market.
- Evaluating the quality of educational outcomes in academic programs.
- Measuring a number of indicators related to the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, and preparing related improvement plans.
- Raising the level of Jazan University graduates to meet the requirements of the labor market and achieve competitiveness in the quality of outputs at the national, regional and international levels.
- Contributes to supporting academic decision-making for majors in universities and helps to align with the labor market.
The benefit of the EXIT-EXAM for students:
- The student is given a document from the university stating the performance of the test.
- The top three students from each program are honored in an annual university-wide ceremony.
- Academic programs have the right to offer any other incentives it deems appropriate.

1. To form exit exam sub-committees (exit exam preparation and setting committee – Exam check and mark committee - Statistical analysis committee) and following up them and assessing their progress in preparing and completing the tasks assigned to them. 2. To determine the learning outcomes of the biology program that will be measured in the exam. 3. To set the exam date according to the schedule sent by the Deanship of Academic Development and in coordination with the female section and the Al-Darb branch. 4. To organize awareness-raising meetings for students about the exit exam and its importance for them and for the biology program. In addition to determining the criteria for selecting exam courses and students for the exit exam. 5. To determine the encouragements methods for students targeted by the exam to encourage them to take the exam (such as obtaining a certificate of community or volunteer activity, adding two hours (non-class points) or any other incentives suggested by the committee. 6. Approving the results of the exit exam for the biology department and its branches. 7. Developing improvement plans for the exit exam based on the previous final report and following up on their implementation. 8. To submit proposals to improve the exit exam and mechanisms. 9. Developing a mechanism to measure the impact of the exit exam on improving the learning outcomes of the program (a form for measuring the impact of the proposed improvement after at least two sessions) through the final report that will be submitted to the department council for approval. 10. To cooperate with the supervising college exit exam committee. 11. Cooperation with the Planning and Development Committee of the department. 12. Preparing a database regarding the committee's work and achievements. 13. Organization of periodic meetings for committee members to distribute tasks and submit report of meetings to the department head. 14. To Submit monthly reports to the head of department about the committee's activities, in addition to a comprehensive report on what has been accomplished by the end of the academic year. 15. Any other tasks referred to it by the head of department.

Preparing a schedule of exam dates and locations. 9. Follow up the course of the test inside the halls and check on all logistical equipment. 10. Develop improvement plans for the standardized test based on the previous final report. 11. Submit proposals to improve testing standards and mechanisms.
