Assessment plan of Program Learning Outcomes

Assessment is a process aimed at understanding and improving student learning at both course and program levels. The process includes:

1- Determine the standards for both the training course and the program. These standards may include:

(a) the intended learning outcomes for the course and associated learning outcomes for the academic program.

(b) a teaching strategy that can be implemented to achieve these outcomes through the chosen subjects,

(c) Evaluation tools can be used to evaluate results.

(d) the level of expected achievement of the learning outcomes.

2- Collecting, analyzing and interpreting evidence systematically to determine how well the student's performance matches those criteria and standards

3- Use the resulting information to document, explain and improve performance.

The mechanism by which the BDCS evaluates its LOs and assesses their development against academic courses and programs is accurate and efficient as it is implemented automatically by Excel spreadsheet. It should be noted that the assessment of CLOs is conducted each semester and that the assessment of the PLO is conducted annually.
