BRIEF PERSONAL PROFILE

Associate Professor Dr. Isam Yassin Qudsieh – Jordanian - was born in 1971, Saudi Arabia. He earned his BSc from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 1994, MSc majoring in polymer technology in 1999 and PhD in Chemical Engineering in the field of polymer technology from University of Putra Malaysia, Malaysia in 2006 with Scholarship from Ministry of Science and Innovation Malaysia. Dr. Qudsieh is a member of Jordan Engineers Association (JEA - Jordan) (2006), a Registered Chemical Engineer -Environmental, Water and Industrial Safety Engineering-Water Technology (Registration No. 6/04409), a member of the National Center of Biotechnology (NCB) - Jordan (July, 2007),  a  member of Bioenvironmental Engineering Center Formerly Known as Bioenvironmental Engineering Research Unit (BERU) IIUM. Biotechnology Engineering-International Islamic University Malaysia (2006-2008), a member of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research Group (NANORG) (https://engine.iium.edu.my/nanorg/) - Biotechnology Engineering-International Islamic University Malaysia (2008) (Secretary), a member of Jordan Environmental Society (JES), a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), an International Reviewer for National Postgraduate Conference on Engineering, Science and Technology NPC 25-26 March 2009 University of Technology Petronas, Malaysia, a Coordinator of Nanotechnology Research Unit (NTRU) – College of Engineering- Department of Chemical Engineering – Jazan University (2008 – to date), He was selected to be the referee of Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics Journal Germany, (2005), Journal of Applied Polymer Science (2006-2007), Water Research (2008), Open Chemistry Journal (2018 - 2021). Dr. Qudsieh was Head of Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering – Jazan University (19th Jan 2010 – 22nd Nov 2011). Dr. Qudsieh area of expertise and interest are Polymer Technology, Polymer Degradation and Biodegradation, Polymerization, Water Treatment, Environmental Applications in Water Technology, Nanotechnology and Nanoscience.
