Members of the community services partnerships visiting Department of Mathematics

Under the guidance of His Excellency the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Ahmadini, the Community Partnership Unit of the College of Science, in cooperation with the Community Partnership Committee of the Department of Mathematics and in coordination with Mr. Khaled Sharahili, Director of the Educational Complex, organized a field visit to primary, middle and secondary schools (Prince Faisal bin Abdullah Educational Compound -Jazan)

The event was attended by a number of students from the Department of Mathematics, as well as a number of students and employees of the educational complex, along with administrators and teachers from different classes. Among the attendees was His Excellency Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Ma’rashi, supervisor of the event, His Excellency Dr. Walid Abd Hamli, Chairman of the Partnership Committee in the department, and His Excellency Dr. Ali Muhammad Mahnashi, member of the Community Partnership Committee. Classrooms, interactive halls, workshop hall, computer lab and other laboratories were visited, as well as the compound's various equipment. Classes were attended in different classes, an interactive class, as well as a short workshop.

The event achieved its desired goals of enhancing and developing knowledge of mathematics, changing the way students look at mathematics, giving students an opportunity to explore and learn more about mathematics through applying simple and interesting programs and methods directly, as well as acquiring teaching skills for university students, in addition to leaving a positive imprint on society.
