Planning and Organizational Excellence Committee Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Identify key strategic goals and actions setting measurable goals and realistic objectives for five years.
- Review the strategic plan/goals and objectives noting omissions, areas in need of change or modification, areas needing clarification, or areas needing further review.
- Be prepared to make recommendations to the Board of Studies regarding proposed changes and modifications to the strategic plan/goals and objectives.
- Make recommendation to the Board of Studies as to the priority of achieving the goals and objectives identified in the strategic plan.
- Evaluate achieving goals, objectives and strategies identified in the strategic plan/goals and objectives.
- The committee is responsible to activate the approved strategic plan to the most suitable committee(s) for implementation and request updated.
- The committee is responsible to conduct regular meetings with board of studies and responsible committee(s) for approval and implementation.
- The committee is to make sure all the academic process is going as per the scheduled academic plans.
- This committee should interact with all the committees and units within the department about the work progress, issues for futuristic development.
- The committee is responsible for applying department excellence award ceremony on behalf of department.
