The program aims to prepare highly skilled civil engineering researchers and specialists who can lead the development in building advanced and sustainable infrastructure, conducting pioneering scientific research, and developing innovative engineering solutions, thereby driving societal progress and contributing to achieving Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and enhancing the Kingdom's position as a global center of excellence in civil engineering and scientific research.

The mission of the Master of Science in Civil Engineering program is to prepare highly qualified and specialized civil engineers through comprehensive and multidisciplinary graduate programs. The program emphasizes advanced scientific research, technical development, innovation in engineering solutions, sustainability, and applications of modern technologies in specialized civil engineering fields. We are committed to equipping graduates with advanced research skills and deep knowledge to meet the demands of regional and international markets, while fostering lifelong learning, innovation, and leadership in their specialized fields. We strive to provide distinguished graduate studies in civil engineering, conduct advanced research, and provide valuable community services in an inspiring and vibrant environment to enhance sustainable development, adopt modern technologies, and serve Saudi society in a sustainable and advanced manner

• Goals

In addition to the general objectives stated in Article Four of the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Universities, the philosophy and objectives of the proposed program must be mentioned, and must include the points in accordance with what is stated in the first paragraph of Article Eight referred to in the Unified Regulations, for example, but not limited to:

1. Providing scientific personnel in various civil engineering specialties related to proposed program in order to achieve self-reliance in the future.

2. Enriching and consolidating current scientific concepts by conducting studies and research in building and construction fields adopting cutting edge techniques.

3. Developing and strengthening the current bachelor's program in civil engineering.

4. Integration with other specializations that serve the local and regional societies generally in civil engineering field.

5. Achieving scientific cooperation between Jazan University and other local and international universities by implementing joint scientific research projects.
