Department Vision

    The vision of the Department of Electrical Engineering is to support the College of Engineering at Jazan University through a process of teaching, high-quality teaching and research work, all through serving electrical engineering students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The department aims to provide graduates with high engineering qualities that are required for more than one field in electrical engineering. The department also aims to contribute to the preparation of successful engineers in their fields through postgraduate studies in the department.

    The mission of the Department of Electrical Engineering is to provide the department's students with the appropriate engineering education for their specializations with high quality.

        Department goals

    The educational objective of the department is to provide students with an outstanding education and to equip them with enduring learning skills, which will allow them to adapt in a work environment that is constantly changing throughout their specific disciplines. This goal can be achieved by providing students with strong backgrounds in the basic sciences and engineering, by providing them with comprehensive design experiences, with full emphasis on laboratory training and the use of computer-aided design tools.

    Graduates of the Electrical Engineering program will enjoy the following:

    1) Use of applicable technological expertise in electrical engineering systems, and success in advanced electrical engineering studies.

    2) Interact professionally and ethically in a modern work environment through effective communication, good leadership, and the formation of a responsible team.

    3) Maintaining the desire for creativity and attachment to permanent learning in line with the emergence of modern technologies, social development requirements and contemporary issues.
