Faculty Biography

Mohd Imran is working as a Lecturer at the Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Jazan University, KSA. He received his MTech in Nanotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India in 2010. He completed his training during his Master's at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, India. His research interests include the synthesis of nanostructured materials and their applications in electrochemical sensors, biosensors, humidity sensors, and heat transfer areas. He is currently working on various projects in catalysis and photocatalysis for the remediation of the environment by adsorption/photodegradation of organic dyes and pharmaceuticals. He has published more than 50 research papers in reputed ISI international journals. He served as a reviewer in many ISI reputed journals.
