Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the Jazan University President, Prof. Dr. Mar'ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani stressed the importance of developing the technical services of the University in a way that supports digital transformation, developing all systems and services provided to the beneficiaries, and paying attention to the development proposals submitted by them.

This came during the launching by the President of a number of electronic systems and services developed by the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology this morning in His Excellency's office. The University's vice presidents were also present at the meeting.

The Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, explained that the University's digital transformation is to provide better services to beneficiaries through the accuracy and quality of data, pointing out that these services contribute to improving decision-making by providing the appropriate information.

While the Dean of E-Learning and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Ghashim, explained that this continuous development in electronic services comes under the directives of His Excellency the President of the University and his continuous follow-up in the development and digital transformation. Dr. Ghashim informed that the electronic systems and services that were launched today included the beneficiary services system, the scholarship system, the publishing system in the University scientific journal, the second version of the meetings system, and the second version of the EJUST system.
Dr. Ghashem emphasized the Deanship's interest in raising the level of cybersecurity for electronic platforms, in addition to its interest in aligning infrastructure with the continuous development of systems.
