Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, stressed the importance of achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the university’s strategy related to developing its own investments and resources, according to a scientific perspective with the participation of experts and specialists to enhance its role in building and serving the community.

This came during the inauguration of the workshop this morning at the Administrative Tower, which was organized by the General Administration of Investment, and presented by the Secretary of the Coordinating Council for the Endowments of Saudi Universities, Dr. Abdul Qadir bin Muhammad Tanakl, entitled “Preparing the work of establishing the university’s endowments” with the participation and attendance of the university’s vice presidents.

At the beginning of the workshop, the Supervisor of the General Administration of Investment, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al-Bar, welcomed Dr. Abdul-Qadir Tanakal, stressing that the workshop will discuss recommendations and ideas that will contribute to the development and creation of the university’s endowments and its participation in development according to best practices, as well as the current situation and the possibilities for establishing the university’s endowments.

While Dr. Abdul-Qader Tanakal gave an overview of the endowments of universities and their regulations, a detailed explanation of the experience of Saudi universities in establishing endowments, and formulating procedures for their establishment at Jazan University according to best practices.
