On Monday morning, December 6, 2021, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, represented by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, signed an agreement to accredit 16 academic programs at Jazan University, in the presence of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Commission, Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti, and His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, in the meeting room of the administrative tower in the University City in Jazan.

Jazan University was represented at the signing by the University's Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, and the authority was represented by the Director General of the General Administration of Program Accreditation, Dr. Bandar Al-Khayal, where 16 agreements were signed to accredit academic programs at the master’s and bachelor’s levels.
