The Unit's Responsibilities:

• Introducing new students to university life and the academic system through orientation programs and organizing advisory programs for this purpose.
• Equipping students with various academic skills to enhance their academic performance.
• Raising students' awareness of university regulations and policies.
• Assisting students in shaping their goals and making informed decisions regarding their academic and professional future.
• Simplifying and facilitating administrative procedures to provide the best and highest-quality services to students, in line with the university's comprehensive quality standards.
• Supporting students in managing academic and professional pressures (psychological support) and providing counseling.
• Assigning students to academic advisors.
• Conducting training sessions to enhance the skills of academic advisors.
• Connecting academic advisors with each other and coordinating communication among them.
• Organizing workshops and training courses to develop skills required for the job market.
• Helping students develop future plans related to their career paths based on their interests and skills.
• Representing the college in university meetings related to academic advising and professional development.
• Submitting quarterly reports on the unit’s achievements to the College Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.
• Requesting updates to the college website regarding the unit.
