The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jazan University was established in the academic year 1427/1428 Hijri 2006/2007and hence; Physical therapy program was started for male and female students in the year 1429/1430 AH, 2008/2009 AD.
Physical therapy is a branch of health care concerned with preparing, arranging, using specific knowledge and skills to implement suitable management programs for patients suffering from functional limitation and physical disabilities due to trauma or any disease in their systems (Musculoskeletal, Neurological, and Cardio-respiratory) and affecting their physical performance and activities of daily life.
