About the College

Jazan Community College was established in 1418, based on the approval of the High Commissioner by Resolution No. 33, dated 18/2/1418 AH, under the supervision of King Saud University. Jazan Community College moved to become one of the colleges of King Khalid University based on the Higher Education Council Resolution No. 6/13 in 1419 AH. Based on the approval of His Majesty No. 2247 dated 5/26/1426 AH to establish Jazan University, Jazan Community College became one of the colleges of Jazan University. In light of the plans and objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 that enhance the Kingdom’s strategic direction towards the development of human resources by improving the outputs of the education, qualification and training system to keep pace with the developments of the era and its requirements, the University Affairs Council Resolution No. Transforming community colleges, colleges of applied studies and community service colleges in universities to become all applied colleges. And by a decision of His Excellency the President of Jazan University No. 712 and on 02/01/1443 AH, the Community College of Jazan University was transformed to the Applied College.
