Saleh M. Matar is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD in a Chemical  Engineering Department from Minia University, Egypt in collaboration with Institute of Biochemical Engineering, Stuttgart University, Germany as DAAD channel system. He has a DFG-fellowship as Visiting Associate Professor (October 2010) at Institute fur Bio-und Lebensmitteltechnik, Bereich II: Technische Biologie, Karlsruhe, Germany. As a previous position, he was a char of Chemical Engineering Department, collage of Engineering, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia and Chair and Manager of Central Lab., Bioprocess Development Department, Genetic Engineering Researches and Biotechnology Institute, City for Scientific Researches and Technology Applications, Egypt,  (2009-2011). His researches are focused on the manufacture of biological products that are of biocontrol agents, biosurfactants, industrial enzymes and pharmaceutical products. His current teaching activities focuses on several chemical engineering courses as well as a senior graduation projects interested in design and optimization of bioreactor. Also he published about 25 research paper in an international journal and authored a book" Processing of Bacillus Subtilis in Bioreactor (biological control and optimization production)", Lab Lambert Academic publishing.
