The University’s Vice president for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship inspect the Innovation Center
The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, and the Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Nayeif Azyabi, inspected the headquarters of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and they were received by the Supervisor of the Center, Dr. Nayef Mazkour.
During the visit, they were briefed on the facilities and laboratories of the center, which include “Fab Lab” laboratories and training rooms, and were briefed about the services provided by the center and its future plans aimed at achieving more successes in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Dr. Nayeif Azyabi and Dr. Ishaq emphasized that the University has qualified academic and administrative staff who are competent and responsible, and they are capable of achieving success locally and abroad. It is part of the University’s plans to keep pace with the national transformation to achieve the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the “Fab Lab” laboratories specialize in the field of digital manufacturing and artificial intelligence, and is considered a qualitative leap for creative people to implement their ideas themselves, as it includes advanced devices to develop the capabilities and skills of students in the fields of mechanical engineering, software and business administration, in addition to supporting the process of creativity and innovation at the University.
