His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, affirmed that the media department at the University plays a fundamental role in providing the internal and external community with the important information that the students, faculty members, guardians, and society need.

This came during the President’s honoring of the Media Department employees, in the presence of the Supervisor of the General Department of Public Relations and Media Musa Bin Yahya Muharraq, the Manager of the Department and employees in his office yesterday morning.

His Excellency pointed out that the growth of the digital revolution and modern means of communication and its impact in all fields makes it imperative for the university to be a beacon of accurate knowledge and information by conveying news professionally and with credibility to achieve a positive impact.
